Hello, everyone! Thank you to all who have stuck around for the past couple of months and welcome to new readers. I ended up giving myself a much needed break and am now ready to get back into the swing of blogging. See you Monday with menu plan monday and a report answering the timeless question of “What I did on my summer vacation.”
See you then!
Today’s menu plan is on hold until my cutie is feeling better. It’s hard to plan a menu when you are washing a freeky amount of laundry and cuddling a little girl clutching a plastic bucket. sigh…
My big kids are now home and debating the relative merits and drawbacks of an anti-gravity hat as opposed to anti-gravity underwear. Yeah. Welcome to my world…
I put a poll on the sidebar to see what recipe you would like to see posted in February and the results are in!
Gluten & dairy free chocolate truffles: 38% (13 votes)
Gluten & dairy free spinach dip: 9 % (3 votes)
Gluten & dairy free “cheese” substitute you can shred: 38% (13 votes)
Gluten & dairy free sour dough starter (w/dosa recipe): 15% (5 votes)
Watch for the truffle recipe to be posted by the end of February and the “cheese” to be posted sometime in March.
Thank you so much to those of you who voted. I really appreciate the input!
My family lost a dear friend this week. We are working through things right now and will be back as soon as I can… Thanks for understanding.
Cari, I miss you…
So, my post for today is in a computer that is not working right now. Bummer. Yep, if anyone is keeping count, it is the second one recently that wants a vacation. Most of my photos are in the first one. (Sigh) Technology – what cha going to do?
I have an a check-up scheduled for the little darling (the laptop) tomorrow . Wish me luck!
I am finishing last minute prep for a class tonight, so I’ll be getting my menu plan up tomorrow when I have a bit more time to get to it. See ya then!
Tonight Daddy’s cooking hamburgers!
My daughter is STILL home. (sigh…) Poor little honey… So, no Gluten Free-zer Friday this week. I am hoping all the germs leave our house and I can get back to a more normal schedule for us and I can have everything back up and running next week. Wish me luck! I think I might need it!
Hope to see you all next week when we have recovered. Stay healthy and Happy Valentine’s Day!
I’m walking 60 miles in the Breast Cancer 3-day! Will you help me reach my goal?
